About Nassau BOCES

Administration

Nassau BOCES is led by the district superintendent who, in addition to being Nassau BOCES' chief executive, acts as regional representative for the New York state commissioner of education.

He is supported by a deputy superintendent as well as 10 executive directors, each of whom is responsible for supervising a Nassau BOCES department. These individuals and the superintendent also constitute the Cabinet, which meets regularly to discuss issues of agency-wide concern and set direction.
