| Traditional Japanese Dance-Drama originated in Japan 400 years ago. It is also popularly called Kabuki Dance, and is renowned for the beauty of its kimono costumes and stage make-up. The teaching artist has taken training in Tokyo and in New York, and was granted a Master's Certification in 1982. For educational purposes, a brief description of the dance, history, kimono costumes, and demonstration of the movements are usually included in a presentation.
