Visual Identity Guidelines

A strong, positive, and easily recognizable identity is invaluable to any organization. An organization develops a strong identity by presenting printed and electronic materials that have a consistent graphic appearance.

All Nassau BOCES offices are required to adhere to the guidelines described in this booklet (PDF*). Use of the logo is limited to promotional materials such as brochures, videos, slides, and signage.

Downloading instructions

Netscape Users:

  1. Using your mouse, right-click on one of the links above (Mac users click once and hold).
  2. Choose "Save Link As..."
  3. The "Save As" dialog box will appear.
  4. Select the desktop as your location.
  5. Click "Save."
Internet Explorer Users:
  1. Using your mouse, right-click on one of the links above (Mac users click once and hold).
  2. Choose "Save Target As..."
    (Mac users choose "Download link to disk").
  3. The "Save As" dialog box will appears.
  4. Select the desktop as your location.
  5. Click "Save."

Using the Nassau BOCES logo in Microsoft Word or Publisher

  1. Download the logo to your desktop, using the instructions above.
  2. Open a Word or Publisher document.
  3. Click on the "Insert" menu, move your mouse down to "Picture," and then select "From File."
  4. Locate the logo file on your desktop.
  5. Click on "Insert" or "OK."
  6. Resize logo to desired size.
