PSYCHOLOGISTS AND
SOCIAL WORKERS
A full or part time certified school psychologist and/or school social
worker is available upon request. He or she will hold individual case
conferences as needed and
confer with parents and teachers. They
are qualified to participate as members of child study teams and will work
with your team to develop plans for struggling students or to recommend
special class placements. They can work with classroom teachers to provide
strategies for working with students and can provide crisis counseling.
Psychologists are able to give intelligence, developmental and projective
tests in cooperation with school district CSEs.
