Certificate and Licensing Programs
Note: Letters of Completion are issued to students as each individual course is successfully completed. Certificates are issued to students who successfully complete the required program sequence and submit a completed Application for Certificate with necessary documentation attached. Certificates show the number of hours of coursework completed by the student. (Application for Certificate must be submitted within one year of course completion.) Certificates may be earned in the following areas:

The Nassau BOCES
Adult Evening Program is recognized by New York State as
a high-quality Adult Education Center. Upon successful completion of
the required program sequence, participants will receive a Nassau
BOCES Barry Tech
Certificate reflecting achievement in their field of study. Prior to
entering into a Certificate Program, students must first decide which
program areas interest them.
