Citizen Advisory Council
By formal resolution, a local district offering occupational programs can
meet a statutory obligation by designating the Barry Tech Citizens Advisory
Council on Career Education as its own. (The CoSer for this service is
613.)
Off-Site Programs At the request of contiguous districts,
Nassau BOCES will equip labs and provide
career education in one or more of the school districts' buildings. Also, the
services of adult educators are available to local school districts to provide
adult general education and career counseling workshops.
Technical Assistance Nassau BOCES staff members are available to provide seminars or mini-courses
focusing on changes and developments in the field of career education.
