Welcome to the Distance Learning Network (DLN)
website, connecting teachers
and students. Learn how Nassau
BOCES can support your district in developing
a digital learning
community that encourages creativity, collaboration and ongoing
communication.Videoconferencing allows teachers
and students to virtual visit museums,
connect with content
experts and connect with other classrooms.
Online Learning Community consists
of teachers from Long Island schools
participating in online
courses. All online courses encourage teachers to create
engaging learning activities that enhance the curriculum, share
resources and
knowledge, and discuss educational issues.
Online Course Content provides
districts the opportunity to offer alternative learning
experiences for students. Students could participate in credit
recovery, elective AP,
and foreign language courses.
Studywiz
Spark 9.3 is a
secure online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) designed
to
work the way schools work. Teachers can spend more time teaching
and less
time on repetitive tasks, and students are given tools
they need to succeed.
