Welcome to Nassau BOCES
Videoconference Services! The Videoconference Services support the
integration of lively, real-time videoconference programs across the
curriculum in Nassau County, Long Island, schools. This site offers the
latest news on videoconference technology and educational opportunities
for Services members. It also welcomes non-member Nassau County school
districts that wish to learn more about videoconferencing and the
Nassau BOCES Videoconference Services.
This year, the
Videoconference Services will concentrate on opportunities to
Create, Communicate and Collaborate via videoconferencing.
Videoconferencing is particularly meaningful when students are
responsible for the content. We will encourage all members to work
with their students to create and communicate original content that
integrates peripheral technologies and web tools for dynamic
videoconference collaboration projects with classrooms across the
country and the globe.
