At the Cradle of Aviation...
The Cradle’s

content in your curricula. After viewing the film, your students will be
led through engaging demonstrations and hands-on activities conducted by
our naturalists at stations set up throughout the Atrium and Lobby. Choose
from:
Bugs:
This "journey into the tiny
world of bugs on the giant screen" is a live-action nature drama exploring
the lives of a praying mantis and a butterfly. This rainforest themed film
is shown from an insect's perspective. Shot on location in Borneo jungles,
it features close-up action of more than 40 insects. The concepts of
complete and incomplete metamorphosis, predator and prey relationships and
“the circle of life” will be evident to your students in this engaging
film.

Follow
the real-life expedition to the islands and waters of the South Pacific
to document the health and beauty of coral reefs. But sadly, you’ll also
swim through vast stretches of bleached coral bone yards, and learn how
our actions may cause these devastating results.
Coral
Reef Adventure
shows the intense challenges and rewards of ocean exploration. It’s the
beginning towards a growing global effort to understand, appreciate and
protect our planet’s oceans.
