Conservation Education Field Day

This popular event for fifth graders consists of a series of six 20-minute activities on a variety of environmental issues. Educators from non-profit organizations and environmental groups offer hands-on instruction on topics related to Long Island's natural resources.

NOTE: Due to changes in the 5th Grade testing schedule this year, the date has been changed from May 4 to March 8, 2010 at the Cradle of Aviation. An added bonus this year is the IMAX film Grand Canyon Adventure. Its a great conservation story about the Colorado River...don't miss it!
