LIHSA grads earn $7 million+ in scholarships and
grants |
|
This
year, the Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts
graduating seniors garnered more than $7 million in
scholarships and grant money, or about $64,800 each.

George Farber, longtime Nassau BOCES president, dies |
|
George Farber, who
led Nassau BOCES for nearly four decades, died on June 23. One
of public education’s most ardent supporters, he served as president of the
Board since 1987, impacting the lives of hundreds of thousands of students.
He was 87.
