Increasing student achievement The Model Schools team is committed to helping you improve student performance by introducing new models of teaching and learning and integrating technology into your curriculum. We work side-by-side with you and your students, training you in the latest technology and instructional strategies, all in accordance with the New York State Learning Standards. Model Schools services are customized to promote your district's specific goals for student achievement.
Planning together As part of your educational team, our professional developers meet with you to plan for your students' success — whether it's deploying specific types of technology and providing comprehensive training in that technology, or strategizing on best instructional practices. Coaching you in your classroom Model Schools coaches work with you in the classroom using your actual lessons, helping you seamlessly embed technology into the learning experience in all content areas, including math, science, language arts, social studies, music and art. We offer practical resources that support the use of technology in your daily instruction. Getting the most out of the technology Model Schools does more than train you: We model the classroom management skills that will empower you to use technology effectively to enrich your students' learning experiences. Evaluating your success Building capacity for standards-based teaching through Peer Review, by providing teachers the opportunity for collaboration and collegial reflection.
