Voter information and polling sites

You can vote in the Nassau BOCES referendum if you:

  • are a citizen of the United States
  • are 18 years of age or older
  • have been a Nassau County resident for at least 30 days

You may vote at any one of the six polling locations. You will be required to sign a sheet verifying that you are an eligible voter.

Absentee ballots are available. If you want an absentee ballot to be mailed to you, your application must be received by the Nassau BOCES district clerk by 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2. If you plan to pick up an absentee ballot in person, you may do so until 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9. The district clerk’s office is located at the George Farber Administrative Center, 71 Clinton Road, P.O. Box 9195, Garden City, NY 11530-9195.
 

Polling sites

Since the referendum is countywide, residents can vote at any one of the six polling locations between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10:
