The best source for these figures is the Salary Workbook and Fringe Benefit Study, which is published annually in June by the Nassau-Suffolk School Boards Association. The report includes data on salaries and fringe benefits for teachers and school administrators in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. It is intended for use in contract negotiations, short and long-range research studies, determination of staffing needs, and analysis of fringe-benefit programs for Long Island school districts.
