Nassau BOCES Education Partner Awards Gala

The 2012 Nassau BOCES Education Partner award recipients were chosen for this honor from among dozens of nominees by a committee of distinguished educators and community leaders. After two rounds of judging, they identified individuals who personified the spirit of educational partnerships and/or demonstrated measurable impact on public education in Nassau County.

One of the nicest things about the program is that — just like Nassau BOCES itself — it is open to people from all walks of life. In fact, alumni of the program, now in its sixth year, include educators, coaches, moms and dads, business executives, school volunteers, secretaries, students, college professors, nonprofit leaders, legislators and retirees, to name a few.
