White Fawn Spotted at Caumsett

white fawn and buck
White fawn, at top, white buck, below have both been spotted at Caumsett.

Actually this fawn shows "skewbald" coloration pattern, a recessive genetic trait.
White "skewbald" fawn
The fawn (top photo) was first spotted October 15, 2014. Keep a look out for him! This recessive gene is definitely in the herd.
Several years ago, this white buck (bottom photo) was spotted, too.
Come out to Caumsett and see for yourself!
