The Nassau BOCES 2025-2026 Administrative Operations Budget received strong support. Fifty-three of the 56 component district Nassau County boards of education approved the budget.
Dr. Sam Gergis has been appointed as the agency’s new Director of Human Resources, effective July 1. The appointment was officially approved at the Board’s May 1 meeting. He brings more than 17 years of experience as a school district administrator, including extensive leadership in human resources, business operations and educational policy
