The last day of clinic was really the best and ireally enojoyed my time there. I was in out-patient P.T. on the ground floor with two other friends named Caroline and Nya and at first we folded towels for the application of hot packs. After that, they sent us downstairs in the basement to get some juice and crackers but we couldn't find where it was and we almost got lost but luckly we found our way and we had a few good laughs and memories to last with us.
This week when I went to clinic I went to in-patient P.T. the physical therapist named Nicole really told us how they do their procdures and how things really go on in their facility. Nicole really told us how certain patients get different type of care and how they are giving to them. I mostly gave the therapist hot packs, cold packs, folded towels, went to the basement to get juice, did the laundry, and change the bedsheets when the patient left. These experiences have really help me to ask more questions about how things go on and to really inhance my skills as a P.T Aide.
Shelby’s story really inspired me to really thank God for the life that was giving to me and to never take life for granted. Also, to really help the people in need even when you don’t even meet them. I can always donate and just spread the love to everyone to that can help out in a tremendous way. As a future college student being strong and willing to go above and beyond in anything you do no matter what is going on in your life. When faced with difficult problem i will think of Shelby because she has been through a lot of tragic events.
