  • Super-cool Virtual Art Exhibition 

    Dr. Ben Wiley from Plainview-Old Bethpage UFSD will share how the Art Supervisors Association used an incredible virtual 3D showcase tool, Kunstmatrix, to digitally present and manage All-County art galleries for districts across Nassau County. It is so cool, really. 

    Cybersecurity: Current Threats and Recommendations 

    We are fortunate enough to have Michael Tzitzikalakis, Supervisory Special Agent from the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Field Office join our May meeting. Michael will provide information on current threats and share best practice recommendations.

    In fact, I’ll give you several topics! We’ll breakout and you can chat about… 

    • American Rescue Plan education funding and how it can be used for “purchasing technology.” 
    • Support and management of 1-to-1 devices, over the summer and into the new school year 
    • Lessons learned over the last pandemic year- What stays? What goes? And planning for using multiple learning methods next year (just in case)
