Fran N. Langsner, Vice District Clerk

Fran N. Langsner was elected to the Nassau BOCES Board in 2013 and was named vice district clerk in July 2019. She served on the Great Neck UFSD Board of Education from 2000 to 2012, serving as vice president from 2007 to 2012. She continues to support Great Neck UFSD as a policy consultant.
For more than two decades, Ms. Langsner supported the students in her community through leadership roles within the PTA, including serving as PTSA president at Great Neck High School from 1997 to 2000.
Professionally, Ms. Langsner is vice president of Sheldon Graphics in Long Island City, NY, an agency she has been with since 2002. Prior to that, she worked as an educational audiologist.
She earned a bachelor's degree, graduating cum laude, in speech pathology and audiology at the State University of New York at Albany, as well as a master's degree in audiology at Columbia University's Teachers College.
