Fran N. Langsner was appointed to the Nassau BOCES Board in 2013. She served on the Great Neck UFSD Board of Education from 2000 to 2012, serving as vice president from 2007 to 2012. 

For more than two decades, Ms. Langsner supported the students in her community through leadership roles within the PTA, including serving as PTSA president at Lakeview Elementary School from 1995-1997 and PTSA President at Great Neck South High School from 1997 - 2000.

Professionally, Ms. Langsner is vice president of Sheldon Graphics, a company she has been with since 2002. Prior to that, she worked as an educational audiologist.

She earned a bachelor's degree, graduating cum laude, in speech pathology and audiology at the State University of New York at Albany, as well as a master's degree in audiology at Columbia University's Teachers College.
