Michael Weinick, Vice District Clerk

Michael Weinick was elected to the Nassau BOCES Board in 2003 and was named vice district clerk in July 2009. He served on the Merrick UFSD Board of Education from September 1986 through June 2002, and he was a member of the Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Board from July 2000 to June 2002. He was an active member of the Nassau-Suffolk School Boards Association, having served on the executive committee (July 2000–June 2002), finance committee (July 2000–June 2002), and distinguished service award committee (July 2001–June 2002).
Mr. Weinick is a graduate of C.U.N.Y. Brooklyn College, holds a master's degree from Long Island University, and has a professional diploma from C.W. Post. His educational credentials include New York City and New York State teaching and administrative certifications.
Mr. Weinick was the assistant principal at the Herbert S. Eisenberg I.S. 303 in Brooklyn from 1984 to 2005. He taught at this school for 12 years before being appointed assistant principal. Mr. Weinick currently is an adjunct professor at Molloy College, supervising student teachers.
