The DACS program supports districts by providing access to NYSED aid for curriculum writing, state mandated trainings, compliance trainings and instructional software. The program also supports Athletes Helping Athelets and Physical Education Consortium.
Curriculum writing provides support to districts in facilitating curriculum writing projects throughout the school year including over the summer.

The BOCES have consortium pricing for a variety of instructional software products. The list of vendors and products is constantly changing . Request BOCES pricing from the vendor to receive NYSED aid on software purchasing.
Physical Education Consortium
This service provides professional development in the areas of health and physical education to districts through the sharing of knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Athletes Helping Athletes
AHA provides innovative programs for student athletes to build leadership capacity.
State Mandated Trainings
These trainings are provided to districts to support them in the requirements established by New York State including Child Abuse Identification and Reporting, School Violence Prevention and Intervention, Autism Certification, and Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) Certification.
Compliance Training for School Districts
Nassau BOCES offers online compliance training for both instructional and support staff through Global Compliance Network (GCN). Districts may assign specific training videos to groups of individuals and track completion. Training videos include, but are not limited to, topics such as DASA, sexual harassment, Unpacking the Common Core, Project Based Learning, and Teacher Evaluation Using the Danielson Framework.
