In this course, students are trained in various retail positions including cashier, bagger, greeter, stockperson, and counter person.  Students run Joe's Corner Store at Barry Tech three days a week.  The store is open to all students and staff.  Joe's sells "Smart Snacks" and drinks that are compliant with the new school regulations for smart snacks in schools.

In addition to running the store, curriculum topics include: entrepreneurship, business math, banking and career and professional development.

Students also participate in internships at job sites such as TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Walgreens and Trader Joes.
