• Do pets distract drivers?

    1. Pets can be a distraction because it can lead the drivers to take their eyes off roads, which can lead to an accident. This can impact the world because the more distractions there are the more accidents there would be.
    2. This article relates to police science and criminal justice because it talks about how the police have to write tickets to the drivers because of the distraction but it never became a law.
    3. It impacts me personally because pets can be a distraction which can be dangerous for the drivers and the pets.

     The event in the article impacts the world because hate speech may cause fear throughout the world and it can also have serious consequences.

    2. Why did you choose this article? In what ways does this article relate to our class; Police science and criminal justice?

    I choose this article because it shows the right people have under the 1st amendment but it also shows that even though people have freedom of speech it may have serious consequences. For example hate speech can lead to violence.

    This article impact me personally because it shows that how much words can hurt someone and make them feel inferior.

    1. This article impacts the U.S because the athletes are protesting to put an end to inequality and try to give everyone fair treatment to all races that they deserve
    2. This article relates to Police Science and Criminal Justice because the atheletes kneel during the national anthem and it shows disrespect to the military and all the people who fought for our country.
    3. It impacts me personally because I think when the atheltes kneeled during the national anthem it was not meant to show disrespect to the military it was just a way to protest for ineqaulity and it I think it was ok to do so because it didn't hurt anyone it was the peaceful way to protest.

This event in this article impacts US because its a way to keep check and balance between powers and prevent any branch from abusing its power. I choose this article because it talks about the power the three branches hold and how the branches work. This article relates to Police Sciene and Criminal Justice because it talks about the government and how the branches make laws and how they carry those laws and what the law means. This article impact on me is that it shows how government works.

  • Why I choose Police Science

    I choose Police Science and Criminal Justice at Barry Tech because its something that I am interested in and I always wanted to be a cop because I want to help people. I always liked how the cops helped people and how they would risk their lives to help us and make sure that we are safe. I heard about Barry Tech through my guidance counselor she told me about the program and told me that it would help alot if I want to be a cop. First I was scared to take this class but after my field trip to Barry tech I thought at least I should give it a shot cause it looks worth taking it and if I want to be a cop I should be brave and
