2026 State of the Agency Address highlights progress

Nassau BOCES leaders shared updates on the agency’s work, priorities and direction during the 2026 State of the Agency Address, held May 20 at the Robert E. Lupinskie Center for Curriculum, Instruction and Technology.

District Superintendent Larry J. Leaven was joined by Susan McNulty, Associate Superintendent for Educational Services, and Joanna Malament, Associate Superintendent for Operations, for a presentation focused on responsiveness, transformation and the many ways Nassau BOCES partners with school districts and communities across Nassau County.

The address highlighted work underway across the agency, including educational programs and services, district partnerships, operational improvements and long-term planning. Speakers also reflected on how Nassau BOCES continues to evolve in response to the changing needs of students, districts, staff and communities.

The event brought together Nassau BOCES administrators, Board members and invited guests, with a livestream available for staff and other members of the Nassau BOCES community.
