Barry Tech students and staff support Compassion in Action with hygiene drive

Students and staff at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech—led by No Place for Hate and Future Farmers of America (FFA) members—collected hygiene items for the agency’s Compassion in Action initiative and delivered them to Career Preparatory High School for sorting and distribution to those in need.

Winter weather has arrived, and with it the critical need for warm clothing. This year, Compassion in Action provided 101 winter coats to students across Nassau BOCES programs. The coats were collected and purchased through generous employee donations and the support of our Nassau BOCES community.
