For those looking to improve their English language skills, Adult Learning Center (ALC) is the answer. This year, the ALC is opening a new location with a new schedule for ESL classes, including classes on Saturday!
The ALC opened its new ALC at Endo Campus, 500 Endo Blvd., Garden City in January. For the first time, the center will offer Saturday ESL classes, providing more opportunities to fit busy schedules. Spring 2025 classes have begun and run through June, Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., or 6:30-9:30 p.m.; and the new Saturday classes are from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
“We are so excited to offer Saturday classes in this new location to our students,” said Adult Education Supervisor Lisa Carboy. “This is a beautiful facility with ample parking. It is also right on the NICE bus line and adjacent to the Meadowbrook Parkway. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better location.”
