Nassau BOCES debuts state-of-the-art auditorium

Nassau BOCES recently unveiled the new state-of-the-art auditorium at its Jerusalem Avenue Elementary School location with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Auditorium Renovation Project has been several years in the making and will benefit more than 600 staff and students at the building that houses the Jerusalem Avenue Elementary and Children’s Readiness programs.

The new space boasts new seating and state-of-the-art audio, video and lighting technology. The staff looks forward to using the auditorium for educational programming, performances, graduations and moving-up ceremonies.

Nassau BOCES Facilities Services Senior Manager, Chris Graham, orchestrated the project that JNH Construction Group, Inc., Roland’s Electric, Inc., Park East Construction and Intricate Tech Solutions BBS Architects, Landscape Architects and Engineers were integral in making happen. The project could not have been completed without the tireless dedication of Head Custodian Miguel Pineiro and his team, whose hard work ensured that the Jerusalem Avenue campus was in good hands while construction was underway.
