Update on NYSED Regionalization Initiative
The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has created a web section on its new Regionalization Initiative. This site includes many resources, including a frequently asked questions section.
On October 29, NYSED officials Jeffrey Matteson and David Frank participated in the webinar Regionalization: What Board Members Need to Know hosted by the Nassau-Suffolk School Boards Association.

They wore purple to let others know that they stand up against bullying, have a desire to help those suffering from depression, and are passionate about ending the stigma associated with mental health.

For those looking to improve their English language skills, Adult Learning Center (ALC) is the answer. This year, the ALC is opening a new location with a new schedule for ESL classes, including classes on Saturday!
