Introduction to Diesel Engines
In-Person
If you have automotive experience and want to expand your skills, this course is for you. Become a Diesel Mechanic with this intensive study of diesel engines, equipment, and accessories. Learn about this transportation specialty with a close look at engines, fuel systems, after-treatment systems operation and troubleshooting. Perform hands-on projects in our state-of-the-art facility while receiving necessary professional skills. Prepare to become qualified to take the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) test in light diesel. Meet with counselors from our Employment Center to discuss job postings and application processes in this industry specialization.

OSHA-10
The OSHA-10 course teaches entry-level employees how to recognize hazards in any work environment. OSHA recommends that you enroll in this safety certification program as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA29 CFR 1910. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of each job. Upon successful completion, you will receive a 10-hour General Industry Safety Certification Completion Card.
