Manufacturing Technician Training
Advanced technology is an integral part of the new-generation manufacturing industry. Learn skills to operate cutting-edge machinery to perform precision production. Study shop floor mathematics, computer skills and introduction to computer-aided drafting (CAD). Learn about quality and safe machine shop set-up and operation. Engage in job readiness and practical on-site training. Gain professional skills to sharpen employability and meet with counselors in our Employment Center to explore job opportunities with Long Island manufacturing companies.

OSHA-10
The OSHA-10 course teaches entry-level employees how to recognize hazards in any work environment. OSHA recommends that you enroll in this safety certification program as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA29 CFR 1910. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of each job. Upon successful completion, you will receive a 10-hour General Industry Safety Certification Completion Card.
