• Notice: A public hearing will be held on July 14, 2022, at 7 p.m. at the George Farber Administrative Center, 71 Clinton Road, Garden City, NY, at which the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County will consider whether it should adopt a resolution that would authorize its members to attend meetings by videoconferencing under extraordinary circumstances pursuant to Section 103-a of the Open Meetings Law of the State of New York.

    Nassau BOCES is guided by a nine-member Board, elected by members of the Boards of Education in our 56 component districts. Board members are elected for three-year terms, with three seats voted upon each year.

    Each Board member brings a unique perspective to the challenges facing local school districts and educators. Through their experiences as Board members in their home districts, as well as their professional areas of expertise, our Board members provide invaluable educational leadership and vision to our administration, staff and region.
