Online application for CTE programs
Nassau BOCES Department of Regional Schools and Instructional Programs is excited to announce the launch of our NEW online application system for our Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs.
Our new streamlined application system allows districts to submit applications and the accompanying documents with a high level of security for data privacy. It will also allow counselors to edit working applications and check on the status of submitted applications.
The electronic app asks Districts to select a first and second choice for program and location. Because our programs can fill up quickly, we cannot guarantee a seat, but we will work to find the best placement for each student. It is possible that a student might be offered a seat at an alternate location (e.g. Construction Electric at Barry tech instead of GC Tech)
As has always been the case, a District and the family have the right to turn down an offered placement or ask to resubmit their application for another program.
IMPORTANT- Access to the ONLINE Application is limited to those staff members authorized to submit on behalf of their districts. If we receive an application from an authorized user, we will consider the application as approved by the District.
