ACCESS

CoSer: 551

ACCESS advances student success through expert support, professional learning, and regional partnerships that help districts turn priorities into practice.

ACCESS is an acronym for Access, Connection, Care, Empowerment, Support, Successcore values that help to promote the academic success and well-being of all students.

The ACCESS Service program provides component districts with expert guidance, practical resources, professional learning, and customized support to advance district priorities and improve outcomes for all students, including general education students, English Language Learners, and students with disabilities.

With a value-packed subscription, districts receive tailored support aligned to local priorities and New York State expectations. ACCESS helps districts advance implementation of the New York State Portrait of a Graduate ("the Portrait") by ensuring Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education (CR-SE) remains embedded within planning, curriculum, instruction, student support, and professional learning opportunities. Program offerings are grounded in the NYS PSELs [Professional Standards for Educational Leaders], NYS Teaching Standards, Seal of Civic Readiness, Dignity for All Students Act, and other NYSED policies and initiatives.

BOCES-aidable services include school board-member workshops and training, staff training, school/grade presentations and assemblies, consultation with school-based student groups, consultation with district staff, and parent/family outreach and workshops. Substitute reimbursement is available.
