The Nassau BOCES Equity, Inclusivity and Belonging (EIB) CoSer supports component school districts.
We provide New York State Education Department (NYSED) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education (CR-SE) resources, guidance, best practices, and training to implement the CR-SE Framework and foster dignity and belonging for students.

Nassau BOCES EIB Support Service
Your Implementation Partner
Every district's implementation journey follows its own path. Our service provides structured support that adapts to your specific needs while maintaining alignment with NYSED guidelines and focusing on dignity and belonging.
Our services support districts at every stage of implementation. All Nassau County districts can access our professional learning offerings. Subscribers receive included sessions and are charged the subscriber rate for additional registrations. Non-subscribing districts are charged the non-subscriber rate.

Preliminary In-District Consulting for Goal Setting and Planning
This session supports individualized goal setting, strategic planning, equity team support, and guidance in navigating the NYSED Board of Regents DEI policy, the NYSED CR-SE Framework, and the NYSED CR-SE Implementation Roadmap.
EIB Virtual Leadership Advisory and Networking
In these four one-hour interactive sessions, PK–12 district, school, and equity team leaders will collaborate with Nassau BOCES EIB leadership and each other to share insights and strategies that support ongoing efforts to implement NYSED CR-SE practices.
EIB Collegial Circle **Virtual**
These four, 90-minute facilitated sessions provide a supportive space for PK–12 district and school leaders, DEI team members, teachers, and staff to exchange experiences, learn together, and build skills to foster inclusive, equitable learning environments.
In-District Customized EIB Support Sessions
These sessions are designed to support each district’s specific DEI/EIB goals. Sessions include, but are not limited to, leadership training, professional development for district/school staff on myriad topics, equity team training and support, engaging stakeholders, unpacking the NYSED CR-SE Framework, and navigating the NYSED CR-SE Implementation Roadmap.
Full School Year Calendar of EIB Workshops
Workshops offer in-person and virtual professional learning opportunities, led by Nassau BOCES EIB staff and consultants. The catalog of workshops will continuously grow throughout the school year with new and highly requested workshops.

Facilitated Book Study
Four facilitated book study sessions, led by Nassau BOCES staff/consultants, provide districts with opportunities to engage in meaningful learning from leading experts in DEI/EIB.
