Serving as coaches who work alongside you in the classroom, they share research-based instructional strategies and help to enhance your curriculum with the latest technology.

The Model Schools instructional technology workshops are designed to enhance teaching practices and support student learning. These workshops will provide a comprehensive overview of the latest technology tools and resources, and explore innovative approaches to incorporating technology into the classroom.

Attendees will have the opportunity to receive hands-on training on various instructional technology tools. By attending, educators will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to integrate technology in meaningful ways to engage students in the learning process.

Model Schools Regional Workshops

The Instructional Technology Specialist Roundtable is a collaborative community of Instructional Technology Coaches and Specialists, led by the Nassau BOCES Model Schools team. The roundtable meetings cover a wide range of technology-related topics, including best practices for integration, discussion of new and favorite programs, troubleshooting, and addressing technology-related issues, such as hardware, software, and integration.

Districts participating in the Nassau BOCES Model Schools Service may use our various active learning, STEAM, coding and robotics equipment. Technology Integration Specialists are available to co-plan and co-teach using these innovative technology tools.

If you are interested in borrowing any of the equipment listed in this section, please complete an Instructional Technology Lending Program Request Form.

Requestors may check out up to 2 items at a time, subject to availability.

To ensure the safe handling and return of the items, requesters must pick up and drop off the loaned items in person at the Robert E. Lupinskie Center, 1 Merrick Ave, Westbury, NY 11590
