School Board Software

BoardDocs

BoardDocs is a web-based system that provides a means for creating, streamlining, and improving the availability of board meeting materials. This system takes the place of how board and committee meeting materials were previously made available to the public, which was through the district’s website. District Policy is also available through NASSAU BOCES.

ACT

At Nassau BOCES, we support the following ACT Assessments and Services:

ACT WorkKeys:

ACT WorkKeys® assessments are the cornerstone of ACT workforce solutions. The assessments measure foundational skills required for success in the workplace and help measure the workplace skills that can affect job performance. Each assessment offers varying levels of difficulty, as the levels build on each other, incorporating the skills assessed at the previous levels. The complexity increases as the quantity and/or density of the information increases. Assessments are web-based, and most take one hour. They are offered in both English and Spanish.

ACT WorkKeys Curriculum:

ACT WorkKeys Curriculum helps individuals build the essential career-relevant skills needed for learning, personal development and effective job performance. It is the only curriculum built from the ground up to align with the WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate® assessments.

The courses are delivered via a personalized, mobile-based learning management system. The platform delivers a meaningful learning experience and provides users with a customized study schedule and detailed instructional content.

Right Reason Technologies

The Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) solution from Right Reason Technologies enables administrators and teachers to contribute to the evaluation process in an efficient manner. The calculations in the Student Learning Objective (SLO) goal form are automated and customized to meet the needs of individual school districts. The observation and end-of-year evaluations house the following rubrics: Danielson, Marshal and New York State Unified Teachers (NYSUT). Each observation toolkit is customized as prescribed by individual school districts. In addition, the Highly Effective Developing Ineffective (HEDI) summation forms and teacher profile cards automate the entire evaluation recording progress of individual teachers for all components of the teacher evaluation.
