NY Inspires
Supporting New York’s Educational Transformation
Nassau BOCES is partnering with school districts, educational leaders and regional stakeholders to support the implementation of NY Inspires — New York State’s long-term vision for transforming teaching, learning and graduation pathways.
NY Inspires is New York State’s long-term plan to transform education through equitable, student-centered learning experiences and multiple pathways to success. Introduced by the New York State Education Department in 2024, the initiative builds upon the recommendations of the Blue Ribbon Commission on Graduation Measures and establishes a phased implementation process centered around four major transformations.
Nassau BOCES is working collaboratively with school districts, regional partners, educators and educational leaders to:
- support implementation planning,
- provide professional learning opportunities,
- align existing services and instructional supports,
- foster regional collaboration, and
- develop shared systems, resources and practices that support student success.
