Medical Assisting students from Barry Tech collected a total of 158pints of blood during their most recent blood drive. These vital donations, gathered on behalf of the New York Blood Center, will help save close to 500 lives.

Thirty Nassau BOCES students take top spots at Regional SkillsUSA Conference
This year six students took first place, nine came in second place and 15 took third place. GC Tech student Gabriella Calone is the first Nassau BOCES student to receive the SkillsUSA John Iannotti scholarship which began in 2019.

Congratulations to ISP students on the completion of their coursework!
Students in the Nassau BOCES Intensive Support Program (ISP) celebrated the completion of their coursework in a safe, socially-distanced ceremony. These students were presented with their certificates of achievement by administrators from the Adult Education Program, which is housed at the Joseph M. Barry Career and Technical Education Center in Westbury.
