GC Tech names Students of the Quarter

Presenting the GC Tech Students of the Quarter (from left): Liliana Scarfo (Massapequa UFSD), Lily D'Avanzo (Bethpage UFSD), Nicholas Larsen (Bellmore-Merrick CHSD), Ava Lombardo (Wantagh UFSD), Ryan Duffey (Bellmore-Merrick CHSD), Eric Mallilo (East Meadow UFSD), Jacob Kutschera (Massapequa UFSD), and Jason Lorelle (Massapequa UFSD).

Seventeen students from across Nassau County were named Students of the Quarter at Nassau BOCES GC Tech career and technical education (CTE) high school. These skilled CTE students were all honored for their grades, attendance, work ethic and preparedness.

Bellmore-Merrick Students of the Quarter are: Ryan Duffey, who is studying Automotive Technology; Police Science student Nicholas Larsen; and Cassandra Niedfeld, who is studying to become an Emergency Medical Technician.

Bethpage Students of the Quarter are Cosmetology student Lily D'Avanzo, and Michael Menz, who is studying Automotive Technology. The East Meadow Student of the Quarter is Eric Mallilo, who is studying Automotive Technology.

Levittown Students of the Quarter are: Paul Buckley, who is studying Automotive Technology; Cosmetology student Gabriella Calone; Ethan Gannon, who is studying Construction Electricity; Kevin Langley, who is studying Computer Animation; Medical Assisting student Marjana Noor; and HVAC/Plumbing student Devin Sierra.

Massapequa Students of the Quarter are: HVAC/Plumbing student Jacob Kutschera; Jason Lorelle, who is studying Construction Electricity; and Cosmetology student Julia Lunz Ava Lombardo. The Wantagh Student of the Quarter is Medical Assisting student Liliana Scarfo.
