Barry Tech Students Excel at Future Farmers of America Horse Show, Showcasing Equestrian Talents

Students in the Barry Tech Horse Science and Management program proudly display their winner ribbons at the annual Future Farmers of America Horse Show. Teachers, staff, administration and Nassau BOCES Board President Susan Bergtraum and Trustee Fran Langsner were on hand to congratulate the students.

Students from across Nassau County demonstrated their equestrian talents at the Future Farmers of America Horse Show, held this spring at the North Shore Equestrian Center, located on the LIU Post Campus. Competing riders and competition workers all came from the Horse Science and Management program at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech career and technical education high school.

Thirty students from over 15 school districts competed in Walk/Trot/Canter, Cross Rails, and the Two Foot Jump Course.
