Congratulations to GC Tech’s Police Science and Criminal Justice/EMT student Vincent D'Antone. The MacArthur High School senior recently attended the National Academy of Law and Justice in Washington DC. One of only 20 selected from across the nation, Vincent enjoyed the experience where he met with United States Capitol Police and Drug Enforcement Administration personnel and participated in forensics courses at the International Spy Museum and National Law Enforcement Museum. Vincent’s favorite part of the academy was visiting the United States Secret Service Training facility, where he got a first-hand look at the President’s ride, better known as “The Beast.”

The academy identifies students with a passion for law and justice, excellence in academics, as well as leadership, and Vincent certainly fits the bill. He’s known about the GC Tech course since 6th grade and has looked forward to attending ever since. Vincent says, “I’ve always liked helping people out. This class is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and points you in the right direction by getting the experience and hands-on learning you need.”
