| Job Description | RC Service provides specialized, high-quality, innovative, and responsive support services to Hospitals and research institutions in the New York Metropolitan area. We have provided superior service since 1986. Job Summary Key Responsibilities: -Performs planned maintenance inspections on a broad range of equipment in compliance with established standards. -Manage all assigned equipment -Installation of new equipment -Respond expeditiously to calls from customers to evaluate and rectify valid operator complaints and concerns. -Research and initiate orders for repair parts, working within established budget parameters. -Provide informal training to equipment users -Make recommendations to the Department Manager regarding service strategies on equipment; keeps supervisor informed of activities, needs and problems. -Participate in Quality Improvement/ Rick Management program by gaining an understanding of the issues and concerns of customers and making recommendations for improvement. -Maintain an orderly and functional work environment. -Provide emergency on-call responsibilities as needed. Required Skills and Abilities: -Technically proficient is using schematics, system diagrams and repair/ replacement procedures to troubleshoot & repair as necessary -Field Service position requiring travel, valid driver’s license is required -Ability to work independently with some supervision. -Good communication and strong customer skills -Good organization and time management skills -Good trouble-shooting skills -Ability and willing ness to serve on-call duty as required -Strong work ethic and ability to work as a member of a team. |
