Congratulations to Sharon Wang Liu! The senior from Bethpage UFSD attends Nassau BOCES Barry Tech to study Animation and Digital Media Design won the Nassau BOCES Educational Foundation T-shirt design contest. Sharon’s design netted her a $100 check from the Foundation, plus her design will be worn by the Nassau BOCES Marcum Workplace Challenge Team this summer on July 25 at Jones Beach. The check was presented to her by Anthony Fierro, Nassau BOCES Executive Director, Facilities Services and Vice Chairperson of the Nassau BOCES Educational Foundation, Barry Tech Animation and Digital Media Design teacher Doris Bove-Aresta and Barry Tech Principal Peter Dalton. It’s the second consecutive year that a student from Ms. Aresta’s class has won this contest.
