Barry Tech names Students of the Quarter for third quarter
Over 90 students at Nassau BOCES Barry Tech were named Student of the Quarter for the third school quarter. The students represent 29 different school districts in Nassau County. They are honored for their grades, attendance, work ethic and preparedness.
“We’re really proud of our Students of the Quarter, and all our students,” said Barry Tech Principal Peter Dalton. “We are happy to celebrate their achievements and acknowledge their hard work, and their adaptability to online instruction.”
The usual ceremony, where parents and home school administrators come together to celebrate the students, who receive certificates from Barry Tech Principal Peter Dalton, and assistant principals, Madelaine Hackett, Sean Johnson and Dr. William Poll, could not take place this year, but the students were happy to be notified by their teachers in their remote instruction settings.
