Through the BOCES Arts in Education Program, students can visit museums, galleries, performances on Broadway, at Lincoln Center or in hundreds of other venues. Some of the programs which offer instruction in other settings outside the school are: The Arts in Education ticket purchase program (see "How to Purchase Tickets"), the Lincoln Center Institute, the Art Partners program at the Nassau County Museum of Art, the Art League of Long Island, the Heckscher Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Metropolitan Opera and collaborative programs with Tilles Center, Lincoln Center and the Long Island Philharmonic. The only criteria is that these experiences support the NEW YORK STATE LEARNING STANDARDS FOR THE ARTS.
