Wilfredo has demonstrated passion to personally achieve his goals in school, extra-curricular clubs and social life. He exhibits compassion towards others by engaging with his peers, reaching out towards younger students and socializing with staff members. He volunteers in many school-wide activities. His desire to please and his friendliness draws others to him. Wilfredo is the resident inhouse anchor for the RKS Morning Show. He loves this job and takes it very seriously. Wilfredo’s commitment and dedication to the program has delighted the RKS audiences. He has grown socially through the program. As an active participant, his self-esteem has developed and improved. He has expanded his receptive/expressive language ability to effectively communicate.

Wilfredo also participates in the Glee Club; he has been entertaining students, parents and the school community with a variety of songs. He is the president of the Graduate Club too. Socially, he gets along with others, is cooperative, friendly and helpful. He is self-confident and determined, and can relate to all. He feels for the underdog and never wants others to be upset or disappointed. Wilfredo loves to work within the building in the school store, Café 509, setting up the bagel cart. He enjoys going to the learning center and the art room to help. He loves working and getting a pay check! His determination to do a good job has carried over into the community where he has been working in E-Works and Hofstra for the past two years. He likes meeting new people and participating in group functions.
