Oneil is a remarkable young man. His ready smile and consistent enthusiasm reflect an internal positive energy that drives him. He constantly strives to become the best version of himself – which is a challenge as he is already awesome! Oneil speaks to his peers to help them stay on track or respect others. Oneil wants to live in a world of goodness, kindness and respect, and he has decided that it will start with him. He has worked diligently to improve his reading skills because he realizes how essential reading will be in his life. Oneil never avoids a challenge, and if it is for self-improvement, he will embrace it. He works hard in his classes, always completing homework assignments (before doing his chores at home). He is an extremely talented artist and has been selected as part of a collaborative to work on a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. mural at Seaman Neck. Oneil is an empathetic and compassionate young man who recognizes the needs of others and is quick to offer a timely word of encouragement.

Oneil has an extremely well-developed sense of right and wrong and is committed to doing the right thing, even when it is the hard thing. He is a person of honor and integrity. Oneil assisted in preparing, serving and cleaning for the Thanksgiving Feast. He wrapped toys for children at HeadStart, and volunteered to be Santa and deliver the presents. He is truly a pleasure to work with, an inspiration to know, and a blessing to have at Seaman Neck.
