Marcus can accomplish anything he sets his mind to. He is a passionate student who is eager to succeed, both academically and personally. He always gets his work done and has been named Student of the Month several times. He has worked extremely hard to improve his interpersonal skills and as a result has become more flexible and better at navigating changes to his routine. Marcus is implementing coping skills that enable him to effectively handle disappointment and remain calm under pressure.

Marcus is eager to learn, has an exceptional work ethic and is a leader in class. He is a positive role model for his peers and often helps them to work through problems. He is happy to lend a hand to anyone in need, regularly volunteers to help others, and can always be counted on to do the right thing. An active member of student government, Marcus ran for office recently and when he didn’t win, he conceded the election with dignity and grace.

“Marcus is an excellent student and an even better person,” his teachers have said of him. “He is an absolute pleasure to teach and a joy to have in class.”
