For the Love of Pete’s Pantry is a non-profit organization that strives to aid people in need, free of charge. Its New York chapter was established in September 2020, followed by its sister chapter in New Jersey, which has been providing assistance to those in need since September 2021.

Pete’s Pantry runs different projects simultaneously to aid those in need while also producing volunteer opportunities for people to give back to their local communities. Through partnerships with local organizations, schools, hospitals and businesses, Pete’s Pantry helps to supply non-perishable food items, toiletries, baby items and more to anyone struggling due to illness, food insecurity, poverty or homelessness.

For the past seven years, Pete’s Pantry has collaborated with Nassau BOCES Rosemary Kennedy School (RKS) to provide a supportive and inclusive learning community where students thrive through meaningful work opportunities. By creating and implementing impactful service projects, Pete’s empowers RKS to help their Long Island community, while developing independence, as well as the essential skills they will need to be successful, contributing members of that community.

Another crucial goal of Pete’s Pantry is to ensure that children of all ages gain access to essentials that are needed for their growth and development. The Pantry operates strictly on donations and has a staff of dedicated volunteers who are proud and happy to provide assistance to those struggling in their local communities.
